Creating a new button

Creating a new button

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how you go about creating a new button?! I've tried using a navigation button and then creating my own button states. This works fine until you click the button. For example if the button you used was the next button then when clicked you go to the next slide. This is also the case if you give it an action of go to "slide7" for example.

The ability to add a custom button with no predefined behaviour seems a good thing to have?!

Thanks

Hi, Mark,

you can use any image and attach your action sequence to onclick event. Or pair of images if you need the rollover: in this case on main image:
onmouseover - DISPLAY rollover button

on rollover image - 2 events used:
onclick - your action
onmouseout - hide rollover image

In addion, the buttons are stored in the images folder on the course you have created.

If you "view by thumbnail" you should be able to see them. These can then be editied for the module.
