Oracle LMS system

Hi CL team,

I'm using Oracle NLMS in my organisation and using your test module for SCORM1.2 it plays the content from slide 1 to 3 OK but it does not change the status from incomplete to complete when I exit.
I tried everything you can imagine but I can not force it to track the module.
Also it does not remember where I left the module, i.e. if I close it in the second slide it starts the module again from the first slide. Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Try it with the module saved in AICC rather than SCORM 1.2.
OLM does support interactions and objectives which are what you're having issues with. But I have seen some posted problems with these failing to update in the database, insert queries failing. You should be able to see this if you enable logging in the java console.
You'll probably find something along the lines of ....
LMS Error: 101 - General exception
Error diagnostic: oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: FND, Message Name: FND_GENERIC_MESSAGE.

Tokens: MESSAGE = oracle.jbo.DMLException: JBO-26041: Failed to post data to database during "Insert": SQL Statement "

One quick thought is have got the CMI adaptor setup on your local content server correctly??

Your best bet is to raise a support ticket with Oracle/McKesson. They should have resolved this as these kinds of reports were common over a year ago.

Hi Nick,

Many thanks for your reply. The CMI adaoptor is set up correctly on our local server. I will give it a go and hope for the best.
Cheers

Hi Dan

Did you resolve your read back issues? I am working on the NLMS solutions using local content from courselab and have simular problems. I have linked to other local content products without any problems.
