Test Attempts
  View type:
I had a question about limiting the number of attempts for a test as a whole. I understand you can limit the number of attempts per question, but I am wanting to limit the number of times a user can actually attempt the test. Can someone please tell me if ths is possible within CourseLab?

It depends on the delivery method Bill. Off of removable media not really as there is no inbuilt data writing capibility. Plus if its on a CD or DVD then you can't write back to the media in any case. You could write to the local PC BUT go to a different PC and you can restart the module.
Ideally you need to use an LMS

Currently we are using an LMS system and things are working great. One thing we want to do is limit the number of times a user can attempt a test. I know how to limit the number of question attemps but not sure about how to limit the number of attempts on a test as a whole. We are also using SCORM 1.2
