Objectives in Test Scoring
  View type:
I am struggling a bit to understand how to set up objectives in order to report a pass/fail of a test that I have created.

I am using the test object where all questions are weighted as 1 currently. I don't understand if this is a base calculator or the actual score given for the question.

I want to pass those who score 75% or more and have those that don't score 75% repeat the module (eventually not necessarily at that moment). Is the test object the best way to do this or should I ask questions separately on separate slides?

If the test object is an okay option, what are the actions I need to define for the test object in order to pass/fail the students out after taking the test?

Many thanks for any help!

Sorry, wrong thread ...

Jessica you want to look at the RULES tab, this has all of the components you need.
First you set up an objective then you can set the rules that are applied.

I got as far as looking into the rules for the objectives that I defined. Is there a way to test my rules to see if they will produce the results I want?

I am not certain if the rules are set up on a percetage base or the actual number that was defined as the weight of the question. []

Objectives the overall aims, like a score to be flagged as passed. What is used to assess that would be the score converted to %.
If you say a pass is 80% and there are 10 questions the scores from the available questions are normalised to 10% per answer. You don't have to use this and can just go for things like 3 out of 7. %'s just easier to use as the liftings been done for you already.
******
Fixed score= the weighting is the score for thst answer
regressive= scaled to 100% total and equal per answer

Might have something to do with the order of building the page.

I couldn't get it right either, then cut the iframe and pasted it back immediatly et voila: it was there ...
