Which version of windows?
Are you using the windows built in unzipper, Winzip or winrar?
If you have Vista there can be random and severe problems encountered in unzipping files. The business and home versions seem to be the worst offenders. You can see zero content or appalingly slow extractions measured in bits a second!!
In any case I'd suggest first downloading 7zip and use that for all of your zipping tasks. (http://www.7-zip.org/)Try the download with that first.
If it also reports no content then the zip is probably corrupt. If you don't have a fast connection use a download manager which should help, there are some good extensions for firefox that will handle this.
