Got a problem and I hope someone can assist me. Was working on a 20 module course, and accidentally deleted the second module. I had a backup cocpy of the first 6 modules, and thought maybe I coculd just copy folder 2 from it over to the new folder.

No luck.

Is there any way possible to get that module back into the course in the same location without having to start all over again?

Hi, Craig!

In fact you can do it quite easy. Copy folder of deleted module from backup into course folder, then open the .wcl file with Notepad or any other plain text editor. This file is in fact XML. Copy record of any existing module (it starts with <module> and ends with </module>) and insert it in the correct place between other modules' records. Change name and file fields to correct values. That's all - you can open it again with CourseLab.

i had this problem but the only way i got it back was i had saved the course as a template previously which brought my whole course back.
