Timelines and Navigation
  View type:
Using the timeline feature to delay the appearance of screen elements disables the navigation tools. If I have a slide which uses approximately 30 seconds worth of timing elements, once you hit that slide, you are STUCK for 30 seconds. Is there anyway to allow the navigation tools to continue to function even though the timing is still running?

I want to use the timing feature ... but I also want to be able to leave the page (or stop the timing) if necessary.

Hi, Jeff!

You can switch off Strict Navigation option in navigation objects on the master-slide (it is on by default). In most cases it will work OK, but stability may depend on the objects, that have delayed actions (when you pass to another slide all of the objects of previous slide are deleted, therefore the targets for actions may suddenly disappear[:)]). Not the limitation though - just be aware of that - again, in most cases it works OK.

when I add popups on one slide, and i disable "strict navigation mode" on master slide "next" button, i get these popups on the next slide... how to solve that?
