You can switch off Strict Navigation option in navigation objects on the master-slide (it is on by default). In most cases it will work OK, but stability may depend on the objects, that have delayed actions (when you pass to another slide all of the objects of previous slide are deleted, therefore the targets for actions may suddenly disappear[:)]). Not the limitation though - just be aware of that - again, in most cases it works OK.
