MP4

Hi, is it possible to add mp4 videos into CourseLab, so it could be properly viewed in an iPad using CourseLab 2.7?

If so, how could I add them? Using the media video object and the quicktime player will suffice?

Thanks! [:confused:]

I-Pad.... In theory you can Roberto BUT i-pads MP4 support in't wide. From i-pad 3 there is support for MP4 but has to meet the following specification:
H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, file formats;
MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, file formats.
Anything else might not work.

Nick, I found an app that transforms many formats to HTML5 or iOS formats, you could look it here ( http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/ ) With this app I transformed a flv into an mp4 that runed in my iPad 2 and in my iPhone 3GS.

With your answer, I shall try using this app and CourseLab to upload a course and watch it from my iPad, I'll share the results soon. [:)]
