1. CourseLab provides some animation effects, similar to PowerPoint's. But unlike the PowerPoint (which uses it's proprietary run-time engine) we are limited by browsers capabilities to display such transitions and effects. Therefore number of effects is limited by browser's capabilities.
2. Basics are the same as in first question. It depends on animation effect or transition you use in PP presentation. Those of them that can be translated to Dynamic HTML transitions will be imported (for example, wipe text right, dissolve etc.). Some specific PowerPoint transitions, that have no analogs in HTML will be omitted. Of course, you can add effects in CourseLab after importing.
