Is it possible to obtain the number of slides in a module that was viewed by the user?

Currently we have an LMS the reads the cmi.location for this data.
For example, in third-party SCORM content:
1.1.1.2.0.0.0.0.0.0.0
(4 slides are viewed, 7 slides have not been viewed)

Do I have to set some action?
