It's good that it can export to SCORM packages, but is there any way it can IMPORT scan packages (for example to modify an existing content)?

Hi Greg, no can't be done, the only way you can modify published content is either to have made it youself or to replicate it.
It is really difficult to do this with most software unless you have the original files
