Hi there,

Can someone please explain how I disable the right slide arrow button when I have a list on the current slide?

I am using a simple list but when I view the module I notice the user can easily go straight to the following page instead of clicking on 'next' to activate the next point on the list.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

That's easy Meredith :)
Add a page level navigation action on afterload, you can disable any navigations you want to using this just for the page.
So you select the thumbnail of the page with a right click and from the drop down menu select Actions.
Click on AFTERDISPLAY then from the options on the right NAVIGATION. double click on the action on the centre pane and select the function you want to disable.

That's brilliant!

I had to read it 15 times but now a whole new world has opened up to me.

Thank you heaps Nick.

One more thing -

Once the list has completed displaying I want to be able to then move onto the next slide. As I've now disabled the button I need to figure out some kind of 'once list completes, then re-enable button' to continue the module. Is this just as easy?

Thanks so much for your help :o)

I'd be tempted to use a timeline on the page:
Either
just jump page after a certain time
or
after a certain time unhide a button with an OK I understand or I have read that on click jumps. This also lets you add the page to the module objectives for completion.
or
After a certain time re-enable the nav button. Not sure if this will work as reloading the page also reloads the ondisplay hide nav item.
