Is it possible to use Microsoft Silverlight's objects in CourseLab?

Not as a straight drop in, but you could add it in an iframe.
Again will your target audience
(a) have the silverlight player in their PC
(b) have an internet connection able to download it
(c) have the rights to install it

You might find that in a business environment the answer will probably be no for all of these.
It is usually best to target your content as if you are building it to run a 5 year old PC!!

I'll do some tests with the iFrame as you suggest it.
