Assuming a broadband connection... would that be 512MB, 1MB, 2 MB, 8, 100 and at the point of use shared by other concurrent users?? It isn't really an answerable question unless you are being much more specific.
What is important is not the total size of any module but the size of the content of any displayed page. You should try to optimise the content to reduce the ammount of data that needs to be sent per page.
