I started creating a course. Everything goes well until I save an close the window. When I reopen the course, I get the following error,

The module could not be opened. Line :3, POS: 170 A semicolon character was expected.

I even uninstalled the software, downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled, still I am getting the same message. I even tried creating a blank course, still the same problem.

Please help.

You could take a look at 1/1.xml at line 3, position 170. Or post the whole module as a zip somewhere.
For me this is not enough information to get an idea.

The problem got solved by moving the course to another directory
