Why am I getting a message which says "Loading Images 97%" and a Skip button, when I try to view some slides which have Flash movies in them?[:(]

Hi Sean
It's popping up the loading message to tell you it is actually doing something, quite handy for low bandwidth users as they'd otherwise get bored and close it or think it was broken if they saw just a blank screen.
BUT you wouldn't be flagging this for no reason so I'm assuming that its stalling.
Check that the flash files are actually there, especially if it is a published module. Sometimes Courselab gets a little confused and forgets to copy the files over to the published folder. They'll be in the folder named 1

Hi Nick
Thanks for the advice - it prompted me to find the solution. The problem was connected with the graphic in the text box that was supposed to open. I discovered that the problem was not just associated with slides with flash files on. When I changed the file type to .png all was well.

Hi, I am having a similar problem. I checked all the images and they are all there. I think that the issue comes from preset objects (help, Content etc...). I even tried to delete the tabs and the issue dissapears. Any suggestion as to where the issue could come from? Images are all gifs as this is the format of the default ones.

There was a thread on this forum, a few days ago, 'Slide Comments'. Ayari had problems with the comments tab. Images on it were not copied during publishing, so not available in the package.
A workaround was to attach the images to the items on the comments tab.
Could this help you?

I think the issue is diffent as I can see the images inside the content box and I can see the custom images. one (or more) image does not seem to preload.

Sorted out the problem. It is an issue with the visited, unvisited and current page images. As I don't have time to figure out the issue, I used the default ones and it works like a charm. Thank to all for the help.

Thanks barend I also have the issue on preview. Not only on publishing.

I copied the images on the first slide as standard images (just to see) but it does not seem to make any difference. Still getting stuck on the loading 97% if I preload images. I tried the sound trick but it does not seem to make any difference.
