IE8 compatibility
  View type:
On initial testing of AICC published courses, the modules do not appear to load. I understand that there are plenty of ways to force IE7 backwards compatibility etc.

But are there plans for IE8 support / testing etc? If so, does anyone know the timeline? I just wanted to get a heads up so I can warn clients not to update etc.

thanks for any help.
Alex.

Hi Alex
IE8 should be backwardly compatible however it's defualt behaviour will be to use a specific IE8 standards compliancy mode which will break some web pages and apps. It gets touchy with some tags especially depracated ones which should still be supported and even some of it's own specific MS doctypes!!
As far as I have seen removing the doctype declaration statement will make it work where the standard complinace mode has 'broken' a page.
