regressive scoring is used when you need to set question score, depending on number of learner's attempts to answer. In this case "weight" parameter becomes the weight of one attempt, i.e. for example, if the question has 3 attempts and weight 1, then :
if the learner answers correctly from first attempt - he gets 3 points
if the learner answers correctly from second attempt - he gets 2 points
if the learner answers correctly from third (last) attempt - he gets 1 point.
