In using the onmouseover action, I have found that if I create a button with a rollover button directly on top of it, the rollover image flickers and is not stable. I have had this occur when I use text as a rollover to bring up an photo. Is this a known bug in the software? Is there a workaround other than making sure the popup object is not located on top of the trigger?

Hi, Craig!

There is a catch. You should use onmouseover action on initial button, but there should be no onmouseout action - onmouseout action should be attached to rollover button image (i.e. to appearing button). If both events are used on the same button, then flickering will occur (because appearing of rollover button causes onmouseout event on initial button, then again onmouseover when it disappear and again... it becomes cycle).
So finally:
onmouseover - on init button
onmouseout on appearing button
