Publish to CD

I finished my tutorial and published to a CD. However, when I put the CD in, it does not autorun. Can someone help me fix? Do I need to edit the autorun file or something?

For anyone that's interested these pages cover all the available options you have available to use in the autorun.inf file

This is pretty simple to fix jade [:D]. What you need is make one extra small file before you copy your module to CD.
Open note pad and type in

[AutoRun]
open=autorun.html

save this in the root folder of the files courselab has made for you to copy and name it as autorun.inf. When you copy the files to CD make sure it's in the directory root.

On the completed CD if you explore it you'll see these files:

autorun.inf (file)
autorun.html (file)
imsmanifest.xml (file)
1 (folder)
courseimages (folder)

And presto it will autorun if the Windoze is set to allow that action.

You may find that your burning software will do this for you if you specify the CD is to autrun.
If you're using Windoze to make the copy you need to do it by hand as above.

I am also having a problem with autorun. I have created the autorun.inf file. I do not see the imsmanifset.xml file on the completed CD. Thanks.[]

Hi Jo
If you make it publish to a specific folder then you should get an html page called autorun . (The name is a bit misleading as it just autoruns the module not the CD.)
There are also two folders.
The autorun file opens the folder called 1 where it opens Start.html.
I think I was looking at an earlier version CD file set OOOPS!!! Ignore imsmanifest in CD based modules [:o] < Me being embarrased!!
