adjusting size of question forms
  View type:
Is it possible to adjust the size of the “answer length” within the “Text fill in blank question”?
I know you can make it more characters, in the edit form it is okay, but in view it is again a small size, so with a length of for example 50 characters, the text moves to the left.
Within Matching Pair Question a little bit the same thing. If you make a longer sentence in the Base Text, and a short answer in the Match text by displaying it would be nice, if you can adjust the size of those “fields” according to the length of the input.

Furthermore. I like working with CourseLab.
But I wonder: there are a lot of advanced users, who made some good "tricks" is it possible to make a kind of "good practice, tips and trucs" link. Where users can share there work.

Kind regards,

Hi, Emil!

This is a bug in Question object (different field size in Edit and View mode). Should be fixed in new version.
In Matching Pairs there are such controls on Display tab: Base width and Match width. As for now this is the only way you can resize them. Not perfect way, though, but better than nothing[:)]

And Best Practice - I hope you will see something pretty soon. It's already on the way.

Hi Slav,

I just tried out the Base width and Match width.Increased the Base widtht to 500 and decreased the Match widtht to 100. But if you increase the Base width text will be hidden by Match width.
So it helps a little bit.

Emil
BTW to Nickj and you: wonderful those quick reactions and good advices.[:)]

Phewww!!! Saved me some work there :)))

I don't know about extending the form text boxes but yes it would be a good idea.

On the Good Practice, Hints and Tips I have suggested this to Slav and team. There is a facebook but quite a few people who work in a corporate setting will not be able to access this. Personally I feel there is enough information about me floating around the net without adding more to intrinsicly insecure social networking sites.

I was toying with a site for this and have a 75% complete web site, it just needs hosting somewhere which I'm looking at.
If I get the spare time I'll post something live in the next week or so.
