Hi,

I'm a Dutch teacher. I'm trying to make a demonstration for my colleagues.
So showing them how to start etc.
So I have some formfields and animated a text to appear.
To make it more interactive, I want colleagues to type a word in the formfield and end the typing with an "enter", so that the text they have typed stays in that formfield.
It would be nice to have such an "event/action" in CourseLab. In that way you can also make excersises for students. (A story with fill the gap)

Kind regards
Emil

Looks like you're after a 'cloze activity' it would be a pain to recreate one of these at the moment. Each formfield would have to have a conditional action to check the text entered to see if it was correct. It would need to be literally correct too as you'd be matching the input to an exact answer.
Perhaps you could post this as something to add the wish list for future features.

Hi Emil, This is something I'd find useful so I will see if I can make a similar page using drag and drop actions. Drop me an email and I;ll send it to you if it works as I'd like it to.

Okay Nickj,

Thanks for the reply. I've put my question in the suggestion request form.

Kind regards,
Emil

Hi Emil, You might find that using some variables to personalise the pages for the user would look rather nice in a demonstration.
See the starnd started by Bob Price on Displaying variables for info.
