Hi,

I'm a Dutch teacher. I'm trying to make a demonstration for my colleagues.
So showing them how to start etc.
So I have some formfields and animated a text to appear.
To make it more interactive, I want colleagues to type a word in the formfield and end the typing with an "enter", so that the text they have typed stays in that formfield.
It would be nice to have such an "event/action" in CourseLab. In that way you can also make excersises for students. (A story with fill the gap)

Kind regards
Emil

I have a sample to show how to make a simple cloze activity available here. This is in the form where the user selects the correct answer which avoids having to parse the users input.
Probably most suitable for younger children.

Hi Nick,

I'm very interested. Can you please mail it to me.
On my question about resizing question forms, I think I have to do it with a drag and drop and add a scoring action to it.

Kind regards
Emil

Hi, Emil!
The only event on form field is now "on Leave Field". In fact, it is similat to enter in some ways (for example, pressing Tab key while cursor is inside the field will cause this event). The reason why Enter is not counted for firing event is that Enter means usually entire form submitting in HTML pages (not the single field). We just did not want to mix that.

Hi Slav,

thanx for the reply.
First of all I like CourseLab it has a lot of possibilities.
A little question about translation. I know I can make translations within the properties. But a translation made in a test, means I have to make it again within the next question, Say "CORRECT ANSWER" Dutch equivalent "Goed". Is it possible to make that change permanent (and is it allowed) in the CourseLab folder.

Emil

Hi Emil!

While it is not possible yet to save the translated object as template, you can use simple workaround: just copy your already translated object from one module (or slide) to another, and then replace old questions with new ones. All feedback and other translated messages will be copied too.[:)]
