when importing my powerpoint slides with images either some images dont show or the pics look distorted.

i tried not to compress images when importing but most of the time the images dont show, and when i compress the images the pics look distorted.

When you put the images into powerpoint do you use a layout template? This applies a fixed set of rules to the contents in the image and text holders. It's the way M$ suggest you make content.
Or are you just importing into a new image holder and then cropping and re-scaling to make it fit and not using the layout templates at all.
I was thinking that these different approaches do make powerpoint handle the images a little differently in the way they are stored within the presentation which might cause the occasional glitch when imported.
