Customization of the preload images page
  View type:
I would like to customize the preload images page according to our layout. I modified the COURSELAB.JS file and it worked, but when I open the course (.wcl) it shows a warning like this: “THE COURSE[] RUNTIME FILES UPDATED”. I click OK and the course opens. If I click VIEW MODULE, the preload images page turns back to the default and also the COURSELAB.JS file.

Is there any way to do a “permanent” change?

[]

Thanks for the attent

If this is the very fist page that opens then you can change all the elements it displays but you should be doing it within courselab not from the outside!!
As well as the .JS file I think that you'd also need to modify the associated XML files which isn't going to be that easy.

Nickj, thanks for the reply. I think I didn’t express myself correctly. Actually, it is the transition page that appears between pages that I need to change. That white page with only a blue rectangle written “Loading images…”. We customized it according to our layout, but every time we open the course in courselab, it shows that warning and the blue rectangle layout reappears between pages.

We modified this layout editing the JS, but it’s returning to default every .wcl opening.

Is there any way to keep the changes?

Thanks again for the attent

As the default keeps returning when you open the unpublished file then it's obviously Courselab returning your change to a preset default.
I've not seen any obvious way of changing the default image used.
You should be able to change the same files after you have published the module when the change will be permanent.
