WMV file in slide
  View type:
OK. Here is the dilemma:

Slide starts with text box with audio. no problem.

WMV file is started by user. IF it plays to completion, and the user advances, all is well. If the user hits the STOP button on the mdeia player, all is fine.

However, if the user just presses the NEXT button to go to the next slide, the WMV file continues playing, but there are no controls. IF you go back to the slide it is on, the controls only work for that instance. So once you start a WMV file and forget to stop it before advancing, you have to close down the broser and start again.

The question is this: Is there a way to make the media player stop when the slide is advanced before the WMV file is complete? I have looked and do not seem to see anythign other than stop sound as an action.

TIA

saw this one too. but until the fix is available, my workaround is just to remind the user to stop the media before moving to the next slide []

Hi, Craig!

This is documented bug in CourseLab that should be fixed in new version (scheduled to January 2008).
