Hi.....newbie here!

I have installed 2.4 on a windows 8.1 machine and I appear to have two problems straight away.

1) Every time I restart the application I get the registration prompt despite having entered the code before.

2) When trying to import power point, I just get a webpage which then times out and goes to a normal websearch (i.e. page not found). It does not bring up the dialogue as per the documentation.

Don't know where else to look.

1. Install as admin and set it to run as admin, that should sort that problem.

2. You did buy the add-on to import powerpoints didn't you?

No I didn't even know there was an add-on, I assumed that as the software is FOC and the function is in the manual, that it would be there!

It is bundled into 2.7 version which is the fully paid for version. Its worth lookinag at if you do lots of training materials as it has quite a few more question types and layout devices available.
It is probably better to rebuild powerpoint documents and exploit the potential interactivity that you can build in. Powerpoint presentations typically need a narrator to fill in the gaps.

I've just tried this on a win8 tablet and it seems to work OK, other than the screen being a bit small and the touch part driving me insane!!
